The only form of code which should be truly focused on in these cases is, malicious code which is created to be invasive on a personal level, to obtain individual's personal information etc. Most cheats are harmless and do nothing more than to annoy others, for the entertainment of the creator/user of such code.Įventually, those thrills and the fun die off and fade away.
These "patches" also begin to add to the heaviness of the actual code after a while ( see MS Windows OS as an example on the OS side. (this is a fun game in itself, to some people as well) It also ties up some development resources, trying to create patches to fight the cheat-code., just so another can come along and code their way around that patch. They laugh and enjoy the entertainment they get from the reactions of others.
Most of them are harmless individuals who simply have a different sense of "fun" than others. Most people who create, use, exploit cheats do it out of boredom and/or fun (amusement) You want to know the biggest problem related to "cheats" in any game?
